NEBRC wins Outstanding Cyber Security Initiative at 2021 UK OSPAs

We are delighted to announce that our client, the North East Business Resilience Centre – part of the UK Cyber Resilience Centres Programme – has won the award for Outstanding Cyber Security Initiative at The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs).

The OSPAs recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector and operate in 8 countries, including Germany, Norway, Australia, USA, UK, Romania and Nigeria. The criteria for these awards are based on extensive research of key factors that contribute to and characterise outstanding performance (Aspiring to Excellence – Perpetuity Research). The OSPAs have been set up in collaboration with security associations and groups around the world.

For the first time ever, the UK Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) event took place virtually on 25th February 2021. Hundreds of security professionals tuned in to celebrate the best of the best across the sector. Winners were announced in sixteen categories for their outstanding contribution to the security industry and improving the cyber resilience of individuals and businesses across the world.

OSPAs founder Professor Martin Gill said: “The Security sector can feel very proud; it has not only stepped up to the mark during these unusual times but has gone above and beyond – which is evidenced by all of the finalists and especially the winners.”

This award is the result of the extreme dedication of the NEBRC team and everyone involved in their work. We could not be prouder of what they have achieved. Find out more about the NEBRC on their website.
